What is the difference between basic consent mode and advanced mode?

Basic mode — Google tags load only after the visitor has given consent. No data is sent to Google before this choice is made.
Advanced mode — Tags load as soon as the visitor arrives on the site. If consent is denied, anonymous signals are sent to Google to feed its conversion modeling, which improves the accuracy of your Analytics and Ads reports.

Does Consent Mode v2 also apply to mobile apps?

Yes. Consent Mode v2 applies to both websites and mobile apps as long as you use Google tools and your users are located in the EEA. Axeptio offers a native SDK for iOS and Android that automatically sends consent signals to Google
